Subject:  Bridgeport Series I & II stepper wiring

For the Sigma motors:
(identified by 8 terminals in pairs with a plastic partition
between the terminals of each pair)

To connect the phase windings in series and set the controller to 7
amps ( GECKO wiring recommended for orig BP type steppers*********)
terminals:
6 jumpered to 5
3 connected to phase A+
1 connected to phase A-

8 jumpered to 7
4 connected to phase B+
2 connected to phase B-


To connect the phase windings in parallel and set the controller to 7
amps
terminals:
6 & 3 connected to phase A+
1 & 5 connected to phase A-
4 & 8 connected to phase B+
2 & 7 connected to phase B-

(identified by 8 terminals in a round pattern with no plastic
partitions)

To connect the phase windings in parallel and set the controller to 7-10
amps
terminals:
6 & 3 connected to phase A+
2 & 1 connected to phase A-
4 & 7 connected to phase B+
5 & 8 connected to phase B-
